They said he passed away \u10db\u10e8\u10d5\u10d8\u10d3ly, surrounded by those closest to him, concluding a life defined by purpose, faith, and deep commitment to his family. The family also shared their appreciation for his remarkable life and the countless people he inspired.<\/p>\n

Born Carlos Ray Norris<\/span><\/span> in Oklahoma in 1940, he first served in the U.S. Air Force, where he developed a strong interest in martial arts. Over the years, he achieved black belts in multiple disciplines, including judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He went on to establish a karate school that earned a strong reputation and drew attention from Hollywood, opening doors to his acting career.<\/p>\n

He gained global recognition through films like The Delta Force<\/span><\/span> and Missing in Action<\/span><\/span>, while TV viewers came to know him as the firm and principled lawman in Walker, Texas Ranger<\/span><\/span>. He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and named an honorary Texas Ranger.
