Savannah Guthrie<\/span><\/span> made an emotional off-camera visit to the Today show, thanking her coworkers for their support and for \u201ccaring about my mom as much as I do.\u201d She has been absent from the program since her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie<\/span><\/span>, who reportedly suffers from a heart condition, was allegedly kidnapped in Tucson<\/span><\/span> at the end of January. Authorities, including the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/span><\/span> and the Federal Bureau of Investigation<\/span><\/span>, have not announced any significant breakthroughs in the case.<\/p>\n

During the visit, Guthrie told staff, \u201cI\u2019m still standing\u2026 I still have hope\u2026 I don\u2019t know how to come back, but I don\u2019t know how not to.\u201d She also said she fully intends to return to the show, although she does not yet know when that will happen.<\/p>\n

Colleagues described the reunion as deeply emotional, with staff members praying together and offering support. Dylan Dreyer<\/span><\/span> reportedly led a prayer asking for a \u201cmiracle,\u201d while others said Guthrie remained strong, warm, and even humorous despite the difficult circumstances.<\/p>\n
