Balancing personal dreams with overwhelming grief can push families into impossible emotional territory. One woman recently shared the painful fallout after choosing to go on a long-planned cruise just days after her 15-year-old stepson died in a tragic car accident.<\/p>\n

Sandra and her husband had spent three years saving for what would have been their first meaningful vacation in over a decade of marriage. But only four days before the trip, tragedy struck when her stepson was killed.
