What began as a rare snowy day filled with excitement ended in tragedy for a Texas community on January 25, 2026. Unusual winter weather in Frisco brought many teenagers outdoors, unaware that a fun afternoon would soon turn heartbreaking.<\/p>\n

Best friends and classmates Elizabeth Angle and Gracie Brito, both 16, were enjoying a sled ride being pulled by a vehicle when the outing took a devastating turn. The sled reportedly lost control and crashed into a tree.
