At 108 years old, Susan Young Browne recently achieved something most people rarely think twice about\u2014she renewed her driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
Her updated Delaware license remains valid through 2033, giving her the option to continue driving for years to come.<\/p>\n
For Susan, it\u2019s much more than a card tucked away in a wallet.<\/p>\n
She still drives herself several times a week to a nearby community center, where she takes part in fitness classes and enjoys spending time with friends who always look forward to seeing her.<\/p>\n
Remaining active has been a lifelong priority. Each morning, she starts her day with a simple exercise routine at home, a practice she has faithfully followed for decades.<\/p>\n
Born in 1918, Susan has lived through more than a century of remarkable change. She was raised on a farm at a time when many rural households had neither electricity nor indoor plumbing. She later earned a teaching degree and devoted around 30 years to educating children in a one-room schoolhouse.<\/p>\n
Even after retiring, she never adopted a slower pace of life.<\/p>\n
