Celebrity lookalikes are nothing unusual on the internet. But every once in a while, something happens that makes the story much more memorable—especially when the celebrity themselves notices the resemblance.
That’s exactly what happened with a little girl named Cora.
In August 2022, Cora’s mother, Dani Grier Mulvenna, shared a pair of side-by-side photos of her daughter and actor Woody Harrelson after noticing something surprisingly familiar about her baby’s face.
Both Cora and the Hollywood actor were captured with enormous, open-mouthed smiles. When the two pictures were placed next to each other, the resemblance was almost impossible to miss.
Mulvenna jokingly captioned the post:
“Okay, but how does our daughter look like Woody Harrelson?”
She probably expected friends and family to laugh along.

Harrelson took a screenshot of the comparison and shared it with his own Instagram followers. But he didn’t stop there.
He wrote a short, playful poem especially for little Cora:
“Ode to Cora—
You’re an adorable child
Flattered to be compared
You have a wonderful smile
I just wish I had your hair.”
The unexpected response delighted the internet.
Harrelson’s post received more than 355,000 likes and thousands of comments, with people loving both the resemblance and the actor’s sense of humor.
For Cora’s mother, the whole thing was almost surreal.
A Hollywood star had actually noticed her daughter’s photo and written a poem about her.
Mulvenna replied:
“You’ve made our day. Can’t wait to show her this when she’s older. You have another fan for life.”
She later shared a screenshot of Harrelson’s response on Twitter, adding:
“It’s not every day Woody Harrelson writes your daughter a poem.”
And she was absolutely right.
The adorable interaction quickly became a favorite online, with people commenting on just how much Cora resembled the actor and praising Harrelson for joining in on the joke.
