A couple of old ladies were sitting on a patio

One lady sighed, “I send gifts, cards, and money to my grandchildren, but they hardly ever come to visit me.”

The other replied, “I also send money to my grandchildren, and they come around all the time.”

The first woman said sadly, “You’re lucky to have grandchildren who appreciate you more than mine do.”

The second woman smiled and said, “Actually, my grandchildren aren’t any more appreciative than yours.”

Curious, the first asked, “Then what’s your secret? Do you send them bigger checks?”

The second chuckled, “No, I just don’t put my name on them.”
