Donald Trump said that Iran has given the United States what he described as a “very significant gift” related to energy, hinting that more details will be revealed soon.

Donald Trump said this week that the United States had received what he described as a “very large” and valuable “gift” from Iran, despite ongoing tensions between the two nations.

Speaking at the White House, he suggested the development was linked to oil and gas activity near the Strait of Hormuz, though he did not provide clear details.

“They’re going to make a deal. Yesterday, they did something incredible—they gave us a present, and it arrived today. A very big one, worth a huge amount,” he said, describing it as a positive sign in ongoing interactions.

He also claimed that Iran had agreed it would “never develop a nuclear weapon,” adding that the U.S. is in a strong position in the region.

However, Iranian officials denied these statements, insisting their operations would continue “until complete victory” and dismissing his remarks as “false information.”

Earlier, Trump also mentioned that planned U.S. military strikes had been temporarily put on hold following what he described as constructive discussions, suggesting cautious optimism amid an uncertain and evolving situation.
