Donald Trump concluded his visit to Scotland with a warm family moment before boarding Air Force One, drawing attention as he held hands with two of his grandchildren while preparing to return to the United States.
Beside him were Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 11 — children of Donald Trump Jr., who was also present alongside his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson. Trump Jr., a father of five, has remained one of the most visible members of the Trump family throughout his father’s political career.
Also gaining attention recently is Kai Trump, Trump Jr.’s 18-year-old daughter, who shares a strong interest in golf with her grandfather. Kai made headlines after speaking at the 2024 Republican National Convention, where her remarks about President Trump drew widespread attention online.
The family appearance came after several days in the United Kingdom, where Trump spent time at his golf properties in Scotland while also participating in diplomatic meetings. During the trip, he met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with discussions reportedly focused on trade and tariff relations between the two countries.
At the same time, international attention shifted toward the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Prime Minister Starmer announced that the United Kingdom could formally recognize Palestine if Israel does not take immediate action to address the worsening situation and support a lasting ceasefire.
The statement followed France’s similar position and signaled a potentially significant shift in global diplomacy surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
As conditions in Gaza continued to deteriorate, concerns over food shortages and humanitarian access intensified worldwide. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected accusations that Israel was deliberately restricting aid, while criticizing international calls for Palestinian recognition.
Meanwhile, Trump reportedly criticized comments downplaying reports of starvation in Gaza, marking a notable departure from his usual stance on the issue.
The United States also increased humanitarian assistance efforts, reportedly providing millions of dollars in aid intended to help relieve suffering in the region.
