The day the word “fascinate” was used, it suddenly became the most dangerous word in the classroom.

The teacher asked the class to use the word “fascinate” in a sentence.

Molly raised her hand and said, “My family visited my grandpa’s farm, and I found the sheep fascinating.”

The teacher smiled and said, “Good try, Molly, but I asked for the word ‘fascinate,’ not ‘fascinating.’”

Then Sally spoke up. “We went to Rock City, and I was fascinated by it.”

The teacher replied, “Nice sentence, Sally, but again, I wanted the exact word ‘fascinate.’”

Little Johnny slowly raised his hand. The teacher hesitated because his answers often caused trouble, but she finally called on him anyway.

Johnny said, “My aunt Carolyn has a sweater with ten buttons, but because her chest is so big, she can only fasten eight.”

The teacher buried her face in her hands and started crying with laughter. 😂
