A young woman believed she had been very careful about keeping her affair hidden from her much older husband.
One afternoon, however, her children came home from school earlier than expected and unexpectedly saw her spending time with another man.
Surprised by what they witnessed, the children stayed quiet and said nothing.
Later that evening, while the family was having dinner, the husband casually asked,
“So, kids, how was your day at school?”
The oldest child replied with a grin,
“It was good, Dad. By the way, Mom’s special tutor seems very dedicated.”
The husband looked puzzled.
“Special tutor? What tutor?”
The younger child quickly chimed in,
“The one who was helping Mom in the bedroom this afternoon. They kept the door closed for a really long lesson.”
The husband turned toward his wife, clearly confused.
Trying to understand what they meant, he asked for more details.
The oldest child smiled and added,
“Don’t worry, Dad. We didn’t interrupt. We even told the milkman to come back later because Mom was already busy with another visitor.”
The room suddenly became very quiet as the husband slowly realized what the children were hinting at.
