A jealous husband decided to hire a private investigator to keep an eye on his wife.
“I don’t just want updates,” he said firmly. “I want footage.”
A few days later, the detective came back with a video.
They watched it together.
On screen, the wife was seen enjoying herself in the park, laughing with a man. Then she appeared in a café, relaxed and smiling. Later, she was dancing in a nightclub, looking happier and more alive than she ever did at home.
As the video played, the husband’s expression slowly changed.
“I… I don’t understand this,” he said quietly.
The detective looked confused. “Everything you asked for is right there.”
The husband shook his head and replied:
“I can’t believe I married the demo version… and someone else got the full upgrade.”
The Family BBQ and Grandpa’s Unexpected Joke
Every summer, the Johnson family hosted a big barbecue in their Texas backyard. There was food on the grill, kids running around, and plenty of laughter in the air.
This year, all attention shifted to their cousin Emily.
Fresh from a beach trip, she arrived wearing a stylish but revealing bikini top under a light cover-up. As soon as she stepped into the yard, most of the men suddenly became very busy looking anywhere except at her.
Wanting compliments, Emily struck a pose and asked, “So, what do you all think?”
The yard fell completely silent.
Her dad suddenly focused on the grill. Her brothers became fascinated with their drinks. Even Uncle Mike stayed unusually quiet.
Finally, Grandma smiled warmly. “You look lovely, dear.”
Emily beamed. “See? Grandma knows fashion.”
At that moment, Grandpa, sitting back in his chair, spoke up.
“Fashion, huh?”
Emily nodded proudly.
Grandpa nodded slowly and said, “Well then, if that’s fashion, I might show up next year in my underwear and call it formal wear.”
The whole family erupted in laughter.
Emily rolled her eyes. “Grandpa, that’s ridiculous.”
Grandpa shrugged. “Maybe. But if confidence is the outfit, I might just outshine everyone—your grandma might even marry me again.”
From across the yard, Grandma called out with a grin, “Only if you still fit into it!”
The barbecue ended with everyone laughing so hard the food nearly burned.
