He Mocked Me… Then Life Gave Him a Shock

I was a delivery driver just trying to survive on minimum pay.

One night, I delivered food to a luxury apartment. The man opened the door, looked at me and said:
“People like you should be grateful you even have this job.”

No thank you. No respect.

I just smiled and left.

Two weeks later… I got called for a job interview.

Same company. Same man.

He was the one sitting across the table.

And this time… I wasn’t the one being judged.

The interview started.

He asked a few questions, but I could tell he had already made assumptions about me.

Then the hiring manager walked in.

She smiled, shook my hand, and said:

“Thank you for coming. We’ve been very impressed with your application.”

The man’s expression changed instantly.

A few minutes later, I learned something shocking.

He wasn’t there to hire me.

He was there because the company was investigating complaints about his behavior.

Several employees had reported him.

The interview continued without him.

Three days later, I got the call.

I got the job.

A month after that, I heard he was gone.

Life has a funny way of teaching people lessons.

The man who looked down on me because I delivered food never imagined that one day we’d sit in the same room.

He thought my job defined my worth.

He was wrong.

Never judge someone because of where they are today.

You have no idea where they’ll be tomorrow.
