A young woman had recently started working behind the bar at a lively pub in London.
Every Friday evening, she noticed the same familiar faces walking through the doors. They’d order round after round of drinks, belt out songs far off-key, laugh a little too loudly, and confidently announce,
“That’s it—I’m done for the night!”
A few minutes later, they’d return to the counter with a grin and say,
“Go on then… just one more!”
After several months of watching the same routine play out every weekend, one of her friends became curious and asked,
“So, after working in a pub all this time, what’s the biggest thing you’ve learned about people?”
She laughed and replied,
“I’ve learned that the only people in London who never forget where the bar is… are usually the same ones who can’t remember how to get home!” 🍻😂
