He stood up with confidence and replied, “Refrigerator.”

The teacher lifted an eyebrow and said, “Johnny, that word does end in ‘-tor,’ but how exactly does a refrigerator eat anything?”
Johnny smiled and quickly responded, “It doesn’t eat, miss… but it definitely consumes everything my dad brings home from the store!”
The classroom erupted in laughter.
Even the teacher struggled to keep a straight face. “Alright, Johnny,” she said, shaking her head, “that’s certainly… creative thinking.”
Johnny sat back down looking pleased with himself and quietly told his friend, “I knew that would work.”
